What to Expect
When We Sort It Out - Together
Booking Your First Session
When you're ready, just book a session. No commitment, no pressure. Here's how it works: the first 30 minutes of your first session is a "does this feel right?" check-in for both of us. If it's a good fit, we keep going. If it's not, no problem—and no charge. I want you to feel comfortable, not obligated.
What a Session Feels Like
Think of it like showing up to your best friend's place. Warm, welcoming. Two chairs and a listening ear. You come in and tell me your story—whatever's ready to come out. I listen. I take it in. Once it feels like the right time, we start to dig in. Every person's story has its own rhythm, so I follow yours.
From there, we work together to sort it out. Sometimes that means pointing out patterns you might not be seeing. Sometimes it's helping you understand how you're wired so things finally make sense. Sometimes it's just helping you figure out what's actually in your way and what to do about it. Every session is different because every person is different.
Once we have a decent handle on what your needs are, we'll come up with tools and/or strategies you can use to move forward. Most people leave with something to practice—whether that's watching for a pattern, journaling about something we uncovered, or trying out a new way of handling a situation. Remember: it's a practice. That means you try, maybe fail, and try again. You're not expected to get it right the first time.
How Long Are Sessions?
When you're ready, just book a session. No commitment, no pressure. Here's how it works: the first 30 minutes of your first session is a "does this feel right?" check-in for both of us. If it's a good fit, we keep going. If it's not, no problem—and no charge. I want you to feel comfortable, not obligated.
Where We Meet
We can meet in person at my office in Luck, WI (right across from Cafe Wren) or I'll meet you wherever you feel most comfortable opening up—your favorite coffee shop, a garden, while walking, even fishing from land. No skydiving though. We can talk through options and find what works for you. If in person doesn't work for you, we can chat over the phone or via video call.
What Happens After?
Some people come once and get what they need. Others come regularly for months or even years because they like having consistent support. There's no pressure either way. You decide what works for you.
